Does Zack Snyder really have to plug in "300" into this movie? Anyone notice that the comedians apartment number was 300? IMO, if you havent read Watchmen, I highly doubt you will enjoy the movie. I would like to applaud the casting/make-up staff, for getting the characters on point. I was simply amazed by the fact that the characters in the movie highly resembled those of the graphic novel. Even the minor characters like the newstand owner and the original minutemen.
[SPOILER] I was looking forward to seeing the giant squid instead of that nuclear bomb, but people who haven't read it would be like WTF? Also the comic inside the graphic novel was cut out for obvious time reasons, but I could see that being inserted as a bonus feature in the DVD or something. [/SPOILER]
